Keys for Life Workshop For Parents
Involving and informing parents is an important part of an effective road safety program. A one hour Keys for Life Parent Workshop for students and parents is available in regional and metropolitan areas to reinforce the Keys for Life lessons delivered by school staff.
Parents and teenagers are invited together to access free resources, learn about the licensing system, how to make driving lessons enjoyable and safe, and how to kick start these conversations at home.
Parents should attend the workshop with their learner driver. Participants attending the workshop will receive a Let's Practise booklet and a set of L-P plates to use during the learning to drive process.
Keys for Life Parent Workshops are conducted after-hours at schools across the state. For venues and dates contact a SDERA Regional Consultant (regional workshops) and the RAC Community Education Team (metropolitan workshops).
SDERA would like to thank our partner the RAC for presenting Keys for Life Parent Workshops to schools in the Perth metropolitan area.
Road Safety Commission funds the Keys for Life program, including the parent workshop.
