For Parents of Secondary Students

Whether teaching your son or daughter to drive, or talking with them about alcohol and other drugs, your role as a parent is vital.

Talking with your children about health related topics such as alcohol and other drugs, is not always easy, but it's a conversation that parents need to have well before a situation possibly arises. It is also an important step to make sure that young people have the right information and attitudes so that they can make the safest choices.

The following family information sheets can help you to 'start the conversation' about road safety and alcohol and other drugs.
