Getting it Together is a practical and user-friendly resource which offers tools to help schools plan and implement whole-school drug education strategies. The resource is based on best practice research; the Principles for School Drug Education and the Health Promoting Schools Framework. It aims to assist school communities to assess, plan and implement effective school drug education.
The resource is innovative and practical in its approach to drug education and includes a focus on the development of school drug education guidelines as well as procedures for managing drug use incidents and providing support interventions in the school context.
The resource includes planning templates, a CD-ROM and is supported by professional learning professional learning delivered by SDERA.

Based on the Principles for School Road Safety Education research, the resource is innovative in its application of the latest road safety education research into practice.
