Road Safety Education Guidelines for Schools

The workshop supports those working with Kindergarten to Year 12 students. This is not a curriculum-focused workshop.

This full-day course provides participants with the opportunity to:

  • enhance awareness of road safety issues for children and young people
  • explore the Principles of School Road Safety Education that are the foundation for an effective whole school approach to road safety education
  • consider how school road safety education guidelines can be developed in their school.

The workshop is free, lunch is provided and certificates of participation will be issued on completion. SDERA will provide support for teacher relief.
