Testimonials

“We have just become a CHAT school and are looking to develop a whole-school approach in drug education. This workshop built on what I had learnt previously and gave me the tools to be able to start the process of developing our drug education guidelines.”  Ocean Reef Senior High School

“We had been looking for a workshop like this. Our school wanted to develop guidelines around alcohol and other drugs use and develop procedures to manage drug use incidents.”  Greenwood College

“When one of our students was nearly killed while crossing the road near the school, we decided it was time to look at what we could do to educate our students, educate parents and assess the traffic environment. This workshop did all of that and the resource has everything we need to start the process with support from the SDERA consultants.”

“We had been running road safety in our health programs using the Challenges and Choices resources which was a great start to our whole-school approach. The staff then agreed that we needed to look at developing a policy so we sent two of our staff along to the workshop. They came back with samples of School Drug Education Guidelines which we used to start developing our own. ”
